Emotions = Energy in motion
When you look at emotions as energy, it's easier to start shifting them. With motion, we are less stuck.
According to Harvard brain scientist Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor, “When a person has a reaction to something in their environment, there's a 90-second chemical process that happens; any remaining emotional response is just the person choosing to stay in that emotional loop.”
So when someone cuts you off in traffic, you feel anger for 90 seconds and any longer is because you are holding onto that anger. Practice noticing the emotion, name it, then let it dissipate.
Meditation helps you work to release emotions faster.
This is a personal growth practice to begin living at a higher vibration.
